My name is Alexes Young, but many call me Lexie.

After spending more than a decade as a teacher, I am embarking on a new path. I love writing and helping people, which is why I became a teacher in the first place, so I have begun helping people improve their websites with content and SEO (search engine optimization).

Since I like problem-solving, researching, and fixing things, I have focused my main blog on improving our house, improving our impact on the environment, and maintaining my work portfolio. I also have a webpage (formerly blog posts) that I created to help the teachers in my county who are struggling. It started as a way for them to get their voices heard without the pressure of someone in the district knowing who they were and coming after them for it, but turned into documenting the union bargaining to better the staff’s situations.
